Declaration of the International Forum for Aviation Research IFAR
The second IFAR Summit took place in the frame of the Paris Air show and on invitation of ONERA in Méry-sur-Oise, 18–19 June 2011. The participants represent the heads or the high level representatives from 20 aviation research organisations worldwide.
IFAR is the new international platform of national aviation research organisations. It was founded in 2010.
IFAR is a voluntary cooperative forum for exchange among aviation research organisations in view of the increasing demands to R&T on a global level and aims to support its Members in the implementation of their research aims.
The second IFAR Summit took place in the frame of the Paris Air show and on invitation of ONERA in Méry-sur-Oise, 18 – 19 June 2011. The participants represent the heads or the high level representatives from 20 aviation research organisations worldwide. With the accession of 5 new members the number of participating organisations in IFAR has increased to 21 (see below).
