ONERA-ISA labelled a Carnot 2 Institute
ONERA-ISA (Aerospace Systems Engineering) is to continue for 5 years as a result of a call for applications for the Carnot 2 Institute network, and could thus benefit from part of the total funding of 60M€ per year.
On the 28th of April 2010, Valérie Pécresse - Minister for Higher Education and Research, published the list of 34 successful research laboratories in the second call for Carnot Institutes.
The ONERA-ISA (Aerospace Systems Engineering) institute is to continue and could thus benefit from part of the funding from the ANR - National Research Agency, depending on the volume of receipts obtained from research partnership contracts. The funding amount is 300 M€ over 5 years.
ONERA-ISA represents 960 people and 27 M€ of research partnership contracts in a new Carnot Institute network of about 25,000 people, for 350 M€ in partnership receipts.
During this renovation of the network, the scope of Onera-Isa’s participation has been extended to the fields of electromagnetism and radar.
