Ground Vibration Testing - New tools for the future A350XWB
During the months of March and April 2011, in close collaboration with the German Aeroelasticity Institute of the DLR and Airbus, Onera participated in a large scale testing program with an A340-600 as a structural test bed.
Developed within the framework of the OGT (Optimized Ground vibration Tests) project, this program, which took place on the Clement Ader Airbus site in Toulouse, confirmed the new technologies and methods for conducting future ground vibration tests on large aircraft.
The experience gained during this test campaign and the ability to propose and manage new dedicated and reliable equipment will allow Onera to meet the challenging specifications of future dynamic identification tests, on the A350XWB notably
